Arab Finance: The Egyptian General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) announced that it bought 235,000 metric tons of Russian wheat in an international tender, Reuters reported on August 8^th.

The shipment included 175,000 metric tons of wheat for September 15^th to 30^th shipment, in addition to 60,000 metric tons of wheat for October 1^st to 15^th shipment, the authority said.

The GASC announced last week the purchase of 360,000 metric tons of wheat in an international tender, with the shipment including 300,000 metric tons of Russian wheat and 60,000 metric tons of Romanian wheat.
