Forbes lists 5 EGX firms among top 100 regionally

ArabFinance: Five Egyptian firms listed on the Egyptian Exchange made it to Forbes’ 2020 top 100 Middle East companies, according to a recent statement released by the global media company

Egypt's Commercial International Bank (COMI) was the highest-ranking Egyptian company after coming in at the 28th position.

This is followed by Eastern Company, Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMGH), Elsewedy Electric (SWDY), and Telecom Egypt (ETEL) at the rankings of 79, 85, 87, and 91, respectively.

The 2020 year saw Saudi Aramco ranking first on Forbes' list, according to the statement.

The 100 companies are the largest and most profitable companies listed on the region's stock exchanges.

Earlier, Qalaa Holdings (CCAP) announced that Pakinam Kafafi, CEO of TAQA Arabia, has been named among Forbes Middle East’s prestigious top 100 power businesswomen.
