Wadi Kom Ombo reports 20% profit decline

ArabFinance: Wadi Kom Ombo Land Reclamation (WKOL) posted a 20% Year on Year decrease in its net profit for the fiscal year (FY) of 2019/2020, according to the company’s September 14th financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

Net profit after tax stood at EGP 23,400,695 in FY 2019/2020, compared to EGP 29,339,274 achieved in FY 2018/2019.

Earlier, the company has been awarded a canal lining project worth EGP 42,857,588 in Kafr Elsheikh.

Wadi Kom Ombo is an Egypt-based company that is engaged in the real estate development sector.

The company is involved in land reclamation, real estate development, and general contracting services, such activities as sale and purchase of land for building and agriculture, and operates it for its own account and third parties.
