ADIB Egypt records EGP 1.19B in profit

ArabFinance: Consolidated net profit of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt (ADIB) consolidated net profit declined to EGP 1.19 billion in 2020, according to the bank’s statement to the Egyptian Exchange on February 21st.

The figure represents a 3% Year on Year decline, compared to 2019's net profit of EGP 1.22 billion.

The bank posted a standalone net profit of EGP 1.15 billion in 2020, compared to EGP 1.1 billion a year ago.

Consolidated net profit before minority interest reached EGP 843.823 million in the January-September period of 2020, 13% lower when compared to EGP 969.47 million in the prior-year period.

ADIB, formerly National Bank for Development, is an Egypt-based public shareholding company engaged in the provision of retail, corporate, and investment banking services through a network of 69 branches located across Egypt.
