Amer Group’s H1 profit jumps

ArabFinance: Amer Group Holding (AMER) reported a consolidated net profit before minority interest of EGP 84.42 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, versus a net profit of EGP 1.94 million in the year-ago period, according to the company’s financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Earning per share (EPS) reached EGP 0.757 in H1 2021, up from EGP 0.0017 in H1 2020.

Meanwhile, the company posted a standalone net profit of EGP 26.19 million during the six-month period ended June 30th, 2021, compared to profits of EGP 41.41 million in the same period of 2020.

It is worth noting that Amer Group previously posted a consolidated net profit before minority interest of EGP 105.837 million in quarter one (Q1) 2021, up by 3.952% from EGP 2.612 million in Q1 2020.

Amer Group is engaged in diversified industry sectors, with its operations being structured into many segments, namely real estate, restaurant, hotel, malls, retail, among others.
