ArabFinance: Egytech Cables, a 99.98-owned subsidiary of Elsewedy Electric (SWDY), has signed three contracts worth a total of KWD 20.4 million in favor of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) in Kuwait, Elsewedy Electric revealed in a statement.
The contracts have been signed on a turnkey basis on November 25, 2021, the company added.
The project will be implemented with a capacity of 132 kilovolts, with operations to commence within 18 months of the beginning of the construction works.
This project will contribute to providing electricity for city residential Metlaa, one of the main projects being established by the Kuwaiti Public Authority for Housing Welfare.
