Sabaa International posts 76.6% YoY drop in Q1 profits

Arab FinanceSabaa International for Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry (SIPC) posted a 76.6% year-on-year (YoY) decrease in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, according to the company’s financial income statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on June 1st.

The company recorded a net profit after tax of EGP 519,720 in Q1 2022, compared to a profit of EGP 2.22 million in Q1 2021.

Revenues dropped to EGP 2.22 million in Q1 2022 from EGP 10.62 million in the same quarter last year.

Saba International is an Egypt-based company operating in the pharmaceutical sector, with a generic product portfolio that includes products focused on different therapeutic categories.
