Arab Finance: Egyptian Cabinet has approved a draft law regarding the establishment of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Authority as a public authority regulating and protecting intellectual property in accordance with Egypt’s related international commitments, according to an official statement on November 23rd.
The authority aims at ensuring balance between protecting intellectual property rights and achieving economic, social, cultural, and technological development, in addition to building the knowledge economy.
