Arab Finance: Egypt will host the first edition of Cairo Food Summit next February to discuss the opportunities and challenges in the Agricultural sector and food industry, according to an emailed press release to Arab Finance on January 29th.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, the summit will tackle ways towards achieving self-sufficiency of basic commodities and boosting Egyptian exports.
The summit will be held amid the state’s commitment to attracting investments in the Agricultural sector and food industry and localizing industries.
The event is set to be attended by a group of ministers, officials, business leaders, and decision-makers.
