ArabFinance: Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) saw a mixed performance in Tuesday’s session.
The benchmark index EGX30 inched down 0.05% and closed at 14,283.5 points, while the small and medium-sized enterprises index EGX70 went down 0.08% to close at 544.13 points and the broader index EGX100 remained unchanged to close at 1,427.08 points.
Trading volume reached 285.5 million shares, with a total value of EGP 2.56 billion over 21,486 trades. Market capitalization amounted to EGP 753 billion.
Today, the gainers reached 65 companies of the total listed stocks (170), while decliners were 62 companies, and unchanged were amounting to 43 companies.
Egyptian investors made 47.19% of today's action, while Arab investors recorded 5.12% and foreign investors made 47.68%.
Egyptians investors were net buyers by EGP 195 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 179 million and EGP 16 million, respectively.
Individuals made 16.18% of trades, versus 83.81% by Institutions.

Moreover, the volume leaders were led by Porto Group (PORT), which added 0.14% to close at EGP 0.76 with 136 million shares in volume.
Orascom Investment Holding (OIH) came second, rising 0.98% to close at EGP 0.72, with 39.7 million shares in volume.
This was followed by Qalaa Holdings (CCAP) that edged down 0.37% and closed at EGP 2.69, with 9.95 million shares in volume.
Palm Hills Developments (PHDC) came next and leveled up 0.85% to close at EGP 2.37, with 6.7 million, followed by Eastern Tobacco (EAST) that inched down 0.07% to close at EGP 15.5, with 5.23 million shares in volume.
