EGX's indices end Tuesday's session in green

ArabFinance: Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) ends Tuesday’s session positively.

The benchmark index EGX30 increased 0.46% and closed at 14,956 points, while the small and medium-sized enterprises index EGX70 inched up 0.03% to close at 556 points and the broader index EGX100 went up 0.57% to close at 1,481 points.

Trading volume reached 135 million shares, with a total value of EGP 1.473 billion over 21,217 trades. Market capitalization amounted to EGP 751.583 billion.

Today, the gainers reached 83 companies of the total listed stocks (167), while decliners were 46 companies, and unchanged were amounting to 38 companies.

Egyptian investors made 59.38% of today's action, while Arab investors recorded 5.08% and foreign investors made 35.54%.

Egyptian investors were net sellers by EGP 63 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 29 million and EGP 34 million, respectively.

Individuals made 28.28% of trades, versus 71.71% by Institutions.

Moreover, the volume leaders were led by Orascom Investment Holding (OIH), which increased 0.42 % to close at EGP 0.718, with 14 million shares in volume.

Arabia Investment Holding (AIND) came second, rising 3.74% to close at EGP 0.476, with 12 million shares in volume.

This was followed by Palm Hills Developments S.A.E. (PHDC) that plunged 1.29% to close at EGP 2.36, with 12 million shares in volume.

Porto Group (PORT) came next and inched down 1.03% to close at EGP 0.76 with 6 million shares in volume, followed by Speed Medical (SPMD) that edged up 0.27% to close at EGP 1.110, with 5.7 million shares in volume.
