    EGX30 drops 1.5%, Egyptian net sellers of EGP 79M Tuesday

    ArabFinance: Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) indices continued in the red zone.

    The benchmark index EGX30 decreased 1.45% and closed at 14,752 points, while the small and medium-sized enterprises index EGX70 inched down 1.43% to close at 542 points and the broader index EGX100 went down 1.61% to close at 1,443 points.

    Trading volume reached 335 million shares, with a total value of EGP 1.285 billion over 30,660 trades. Market capitalization amounted to EGP 738.709 billion.

    Today, the gainers reached 19 companies of the total listed stocks (177), while decliners were 127 companies, and unchanged were amounting to 31 companies.

    Egyptian investors made 57.64% of today's action, while Arab investors recorded 5.54% and foreign investors made 36.83%.

    Egyptian investors were net sellers by EGP 79 million, while Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 49 million and EGP 30 million, respectively.

    Individuals made 45.82% of trades, versus 54.17% by Institutions.

    Moreover, the volume leaders were led by Orascom Investment Holding (OIH), which decreased 5.44 % to close at EGP 0.652, with 80 million shares in volume.

    Palm Hills Developments S.A.E. (PHDC) came second, dipping 5.58% to close at EGP 2.180, with 29 million shares in volume.

    This was followed by Arabia Investment Holding (AIND) that rose 0.40% to close at EGP 0.485, with 22 million shares in volume.

    Porto Group (PORT) came next and inched down 2.95% to close at EGP 0.769 with 17 million shares in volume, followed by Qalaa Holdings (CCAP) that edged down 5.99% to close at EGP 2.46, with 14 million shares in volume.
