    ArabFinance: Egyptian Stock Exchange’s (EGX) indices end Wednesday session negatively.  

    The benchmark index EGX30 decreased 0.05% and closed at 14,745 points, while the small and medium-sized enterprises index EGX70 inched down 0.34% to close at 540 points and the broader index EGX100 went down 0.22% to close at 1,440 points.

    Trading volume reached 158 million shares, with a total value of EGP 4.443 billion over 19,974 trades. Market capitalization amounted to EGP 738.286 billion.

    Today, the gainers reached 31 companies of the total listed stocks (170), while decliners were 95 companies, and unchanged were amounting to 42 companies.

    Egyptian investors made 50.24% of today's action, while Arab investors recorded 0.73% and foreign investors made 49.04%.

    Egyptian investors were net sellers by EGP 2.4 billion, while foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 2.4 billion and EGP 13 million, respectively.

    Individuals made 6.73% of trades, versus 93.26% by Institutions.

    Moreover, the volume leaders were led by Orascom Investment Holding (OIH), which decreased 2.58 % to close at EGP 0.645, with 29 million shares in volume.

    Palm Hills Developments S.A.E. (PHDC) came second, dipping 3.18% to close at EGP 2.130, with 14 million shares in volume.

    This was followed by Qalaa Holdings (CCAP) that drop 1.99% to close at EGP 2.43, with 11 million shares in volume.

    Porto Group (PORT) came next and inched up 0.66% to close at EGP 0.768 with 11 million shares in volume, followed by Arabia Investment Holding (AIND) that edged down 2.42% to close at EGP 0.485, with 10 million shares in volume.
