OIH considers investment opportunities in Uzbekistan

Arab Finance: Orascom Investment Holding (OIH) is currently mulling over a number of investment projects are in the sectors of hospitality and tourism, as well as energy in Uzbekistan, according to a disclosure filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on May 31^st.

The potential projects complement OIH’s strategy to invest in the development of tourist destinations, renewable energy, and light electric vehicles used in transport.

The announcement came as a response to the recently published news in the media on OIH’s plan to invest $1.2 billion in Uzbekistan.
