Basic commodities, vegetables mixed on August 4

Arab Finance: Prices of basic commodities and vegetables fluctuated on Tuesday, August 4, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).

Packaged rice went down by 0.4% to EGP 34.7 per kilogram, while the flour’s price rose by 3.2% to EGP 26.5 per kilogram.

Sugar was priced at EGP 34.1 per kilogram, marking a daily increase of 3.3%.

Likewise, sunflower oil jumped by 4.3% to EGP 101.8 per kilogram.

Tomatoes amounted to EGP 17.4 per kilogram, reflecting a daily fall of 7.5%.

Meanwhile, the price of potatoes climbed by 4.5% to EGP 20.2 per kilogram.
