Arab Finance: Prices of basic food commodities collectively declined on Monday, August 10, while vegetable prices increased, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
Packaged flour decreased by 7.3% to EGP 25.8 per kilogram, while sugar fell by 5.7% to EGP 33.6 per kilogram. Likewise, the rice edged down by 0.8% to EGP 33.9.
In the vegetable segment, the price of tomatoes rose by 6.7% daily to EGP 16.7 per kilogram. Onions also increased by 4.5% to EGP 13.8.
