Arab Finance: The exchange rate between the US dollar and the Egyptian pound hit the EGP 53 mark on early Tuesday, May 12th, trading at major local banks.
By 11:13 am, the US dollar trades at EGP 53.01 for purchase and EGP 53.11 for sale at Banque Misr.
Meanwhile, the USD hit EGP 53.02 for buying and EGP 52.12 for selling at both the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and the Commercial International Bank (CIB).
At the United Bank, it recorded EGP 53.19 for buying and EGP 53.29 for selling.
