Gold prices hit record high amid weaker dollar, geopolitical tensions

Arab Finance: Gold prices hiked on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold price recording EGP 6,857.6 per gram for buying and EGP 6,799.32 for selling, Dahab Masr’s data showed at 2:18 pm.

The 21-karat gold price amounted to EGP 6,001 per gram for buying and EGP 5,950 for selling.

Likewise, the international gold ounce price jumped to $4,489.4 for purchasing and  $4,488.7 for selling.

On the global level, the gold process touched a record high due to a weaker dollar and persistent geopolitical uncertainty, according to Reuters.

Spot gold climbed by 0.8% to $4,482.70 per ounce after hitting a record $4,497.55 earlier in the session.
