Arab Finance: The prices of meat, poultry, and fish in Egypt saw limited fluctuations on Wednesday, December 17th, according to data released by the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
The price of white chicken reached around EGP 72.9 per kilo, decreasing by 1.3% monthly and by 13.7% on an annual basis.
On the other hand, the price of beef inched down by 0.3% month-on-month (MoM) to EGP 405 per kilo, while recording a 1.4% year-on-year (YoY) growth.
Tilapia fish recorded EGP 86.1 per kilo, falling by1.5% MoM despite climbing by 2.6% YoY.
As for dairy products, packaged milk’s price retreated by 0.9% MoM to EGP 44.4 per liter.
A carton of white eggs reached nearly EGP 143.6, with a monthly decline of 0.6% as well as an annual decrease of 12.3%.
