Arab Finance: Prices of basic food commodities and vegetables in the Egyptian market showed a mixed performance on Wednesday, April 1st, according to the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
The rice amounted to EGP 34.5 per kilogram, reflecting a daily increase of 2.9%.
Flour prices climbed by 4.2% to EGP 25.5 per kilogram, while sugar grew by 1.3% to EGP 32.3 per kilogram.
In the vegetables sector, tomatoes retreated by 7% to EGP 34.2 per kilogram.
Potatoes also fell by 0.7% to EGP 14.5 per kilogram.
