Prices of food commodities, vegetables varied on March 30th

Arab Finance: Prices of basic food commodities and vegetables in the Egyptian market on Monday, March 30^th, 2026, showed varied movements, according to the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).

Packaged rice prices jumped by 3.2% to EGP 35 per kilogram, whereas the flour declined by 7% to EGP 25.4 per kilogram.

Sugar’s price also fell by 11.1% to EGP 32.7 per kilogram. Likewise, the sunflower oil prices decreased by 3.4% to EGP 92.9 per kilogram.

As for vegetables, the price of tomatoes rose by 3.8% to EGP 36.3 per kilogram.

Potatoes reached EGP 14.4 per kilogram, reflecting a daily increase of 5.1%.
