Arab Finance: The USD exceeded the EGP 53 mark at Egyptian banks during the beginning trading session on Sunday, March 29th.
By 11:19 am, the exchange rate between the EGP and the USD hit EGP 53.44 for buying and EGP 53.54 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr.
At the Commercial International Bank Egypt (CIB), the exchange rate hit EGP 53.47 for purchase and EGP 53.57 for sale.
Meanwhile, the US dollar traded at EGP 53.40 for buying and EGP 53.50 for selling at Al Baraka Bank Egypt.
