CBE sells EGP 53.36B T-bills on April 29th

Arab Finance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has sold three-month treasury bills (T-bills) valued at EGP 53.355 billion at an average yield of 25.45% in an auction on April 29th, as per data by the central bank.

This is 79% higher than the targeted value of EGP 30 billion.

The bank has received bids worth over EGP 81.814 billion at a yield of up to 29%.
