Islamic Banking Deposits Rise in Q1 2025

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, Islamic banking deposits in Egypt reached EGP 784 billion, reflecting a year-on-year (YoY) growth rate of 53.4%.

These deposits accounted for 7.4% of total bank deposits, according to the Egyptian Islamic Finance Association (EIFA).
