Egypt’s auto sales up 21.7% YoY in February

Egypt’s auto sales up 21.7% YoY in February

Arab Finance: Egypt’s automotive sales rose by 21.7% year on year (YoY) in February to 7,397 vehicles, compared to 6,076 vehicles, Hapi Journal reported, citing a report from the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC).

Passenger car sales surged by 37.3% in February, hitting 5,852 vehicles, versus 4,263 vehicles in the same month of 2023.

On the other hand, sales of buses dropped by 32.2% YoY to 519 units, while sales of trucks saw a 2% YoY downtick to 1,026 units.
