Arab Finance: Egypt's food exports are projected to exceed $6 billion this year, up from $5.1 billion in 2023, Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS) Yahya Elwathik Bellah told Asharq Business.
The ECS also plans to attract up to $4 billion in foreign investments in 2025, focusing on industries such as food industries, engineering, chemicals, fertilizers, clothing, and textiles, he added.
Elwathik Bellah noted that the ECS continuously explores new wheat import markets, contingent on favorable pricing.
