Arab Finance: All banks in Egypt will be off on Thursday, September 4th, on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday holiday, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced on August 28th.
Banks will resume working on Sunday, September 7th.
On August 25th, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly declared the same day as a paid holiday for employees in ministries, government agencies, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, and public business sector companies.
