Arab Finance: Egypt has raised prices of all fuel types and butane gas starting Friday, October 17th, 2025, according to a decision announced by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, as per a statement.
The price of 95-octane gasoline rose to EGP 21 per liter from EGP 19, while the 92-octane rose to EGP 19.25 per liter from EGP 17.25.
The price of 80-octane grades has been raised to EGP 17.75 per liter from EGP 15.75.
Diesel was set at EGP 17.5 per liter, up from EGP 15.5, and the price of the compressed natural gas (CNG) increased to EGP 10 per cubic meter from EGP 7.
Following the adjustment, the government said it would fix fuel prices for at least one year in light of ongoing local, regional, and global developments.
