Faisal Islamic Bank’s business volume grows 14.5%

ArabFinance: Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (FAITA) recorded a year on year (YoY) increase of 14.5% in business volume during April, according to a disclosure to the EGX.

The bank achieved EGP 109.60 billion in business volume over April, compared to EGP 95.75 billion in the same month in 2019.

Meanwhile, assets surged by 13.6% YoY to EGP 104.18 billion, compared to EGP 91.71 billion.

The volume of current and saving accounts grew by 14% to EGP 88.99 billion in April when compared to EGP 78.04 billion in the same month last year.

Faisal Islamic Bank also achieved a YoY rise of 9.8% in equity rights to EGP 13.35 billion from EGP 12.16 billion.

It is worth noting that the bank achieved a consolidated net profit of EGP 2.78 billion in 2019.
