Arab Finance: The Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) has signed an agreement with France-based Atos to establish a joint venture (JV) company in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), as per an emailed press release.

The new joint venture will manage and operate the infrastructure and information technology (IT) applications in the NAC, with the aim of providing smart city services to the region’s first smart city.

As per the agreement, Atos will apply its expertise in managing, operating, and maintaining the smart infrastructure and IT system inside and outside the NAC, with a special focus on sustainability and carbon emissions control.
