NREA to conduct studies on 3 lands for clean energy projects in January

Arab Finance: The Egyptian New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) will start conducting strategic studies on three plots of land, spanning 26,600 kilometers, allocated for the implementation of clean energy projects, Al Arabiya Business reported, citing government sources.

The studies are funded by the World Bank and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ).

They will be conducted within 18 to 24 months, including measuring wind velocities as well as the intensity and duration of solar radiation.
