Egypt's International Cooperation Ministry signs $19M grants with Switzerland

Arab Finance: The Ministry of International Cooperation has signed two grant agreements worth $19 million with Switzerland, the Egyptian ministry stated.

The funds will benefit the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities in the implementation of the second phase of the Drinking Water Management Program in Upper Egypt and the Sludge Management Project in Beni Suef.

This comes within the joint development cooperation program between Switzerland and Egypt for the period of 2021-2024, under which nearly $94 million were dedicated to different sectors, including water, sanitation, green transformation, and boosting private sector participation.
