Arab Finance: Egypt’s automotive sales rose by 16.6% year on year (YoY) in January to 6,273 vehicles, versus 5,379 vehicles, Al Mal News reported, citing a report from the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC).
Passenger cars sales surged by 40.2% YoY in January, hitting 4,808 vehicles, up from 3,429 vehicles.
On the other hand, sales of trucks dropped by 17.3% YoY to 943 units, while sales of buses saw a 35.6% yearly decrease to 522 units.
