Arab Finance: The General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has launched a tender to purchase 50,000 tons of raw cane sugar from any origin, Reuters reported.

The tender was unveiled on behalf of the Holding Company for Food Industries (HCFI), represented by the Egyptian Sugar and Integrated Industries Company.

Offers should be submitted for arrival from June 1^st to 15^th, from June 15^th to 30^th, or from July 1^st to 15^th for at sight payment on a cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) free-out basis in EGP or USD.

The deadline for submitting offers is April 20^th, GASC added.
