Cairo Food Summit to focus on challenges, opportunities in agricultural sector

Arab Finance: The first edition of the Cairo Food Summit will be inaugurated on February 27th, under the auspices of Ministries of Supply and Internal Trade, International Cooperation, Agriculture, and Trade and Industry, according to an emailed press release on February 19^th.

The summit will be held under the theme of “Food Today & Tomorrow” with the aim of bolstering the development of the agricultural and food industries to push the country toward self-sufficiency and boost GDP growth.

Major stakeholders from different sectors are set to convene at the event to cooperate on achieving the sustainable development strategy of Egypt Vision 2030.

The event will bring together ministers, government officials, and decision-makers, as well as experts and business leaders from all sectors, to discuss the future of the food industry and explore ways to achieve food security and sustainable economic growth.
