Egypt, Jordan to host joint business forum in June

Arab Finance: Egypt and Jordan have agreed to hold a joint forum for both countries’ businessmen in June to maximize trade exchange and advance cooperation frameworks between the private sectors in the two countries, as per a statement.

Additionally, sectoral committees will convene to explore opportunities in transportation, logistics, energy, and digital communication.

In a joint press conference held following the 32nd session of the Joint Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Committee, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and his Jordanian counterpart Bisher Khasawneh announced plans for enhanced bilateral cooperation.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of maximizing trade exchange and advancing joint cooperation frameworks.

Khasawneh praised the economic performance of both nations, commending Egypt's achievements in implementing successful programs with international financial institutions.

He reiterated the commitment to ongoing structural reforms and emphasized the need for direct communication between officials to address challenges swiftly.

Earlier on the same day, the Egyptian Supreme Council for Media Regulation and the Jordanian Media Commission sealed a cooperation protocol to bolster relations in the media sector.
