Arab Finance: The Jordan-based VentureX Fund aims to invest in 180 Egyptian startups over the next three years, Asharq Business reported, citing the fund’s Managing Partner Yousef Hamidaddin.
At the "Startups Without Borders" summit in Cairo, Hamidaddin outlined the fund’s strategy, which targets investing in 30 Egyptian companies annually, with investments ranging between $10,000 and $30,000 per company.
The fund, currently exploring opportunities in agricultural technologies and creative industries, will focus on emerging ventures in Cairo, Alexandria, and Beni Suef.
