Arab Finance: The Commercial International Bank (CIB) has decided to lower its foreign exchange (FX) markup fees to 5% from 10% for all cards, as per a statement issued on June 24th.

The bank has also increased credit cards' international spending limits inside and outside Egypt.

However, it kept cash withdrawal fees from international ATMs at 10%, with a minimum of EGP 20.

The CIB has raised the monthly international purchase limit inside Egypt to range between EGP 75,000 and EGP 100,000 depending on the segment type.

Similarly, it increased the monthly international purchase limit outside Egypt to be between EGP 100,000 and EGP 250,000 depending on the segment.
