Egypt to host 11th edition of Pharmaconex in September

Arab Finance: Egypt will host the 11th edition of Pharmaconex, Africa’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturing hub, from September 8th to 10th, according to an emailed press release.
The three-day event will be organized by Informa Markets Egypt, a renowned global exhibition organizer, and under the patronage of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in Cairo.
Expected to attract 8,500 visitors, Pharmaconex will feature major exhibitors from more than 20 countries.
Over 300 firms are expected to showcase products and services during the event.
“Our participation in Pharmaconex 2024 reflects our commitment to overcoming all challenges facing companies and enhancing our capabilities to achieve sustainable growth in this vital sector,” EDA’s Chairman Ali Ghamrawy noted.
“"Pharmaconex has successfully highlighted the tremendous growth witnessed in the pharmaceutical sector across the African continent over the past years, enabling Egyptian companies to export medicines to Africa and subsequently to global markets,” Samar Awad, the Exhibition Manager, commented.
“The pharmaceutical industries in North Africa are expected to grow annually by 8%, reaching over $22 billion by 2025,” she added.
