Government pledges approval for committed investors seeking industrial lands

Arab Finance: The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) will not reject requests submitted by serious investors seeking industrial lands in different sectors, Minister of Transport and Industry Kamel El Wazir stated.

in case of postponement of the land’s granting, investors will be informed of the reason for the delay, the minister said.

He pointed out that the ministry is studying the possibility of banning selling or renting industrial land plots, provided that they are solely developed and operated only by their owner to prevent trading of industrial lands.

El Wazir added that the ministry has developed a comprehensive plan to turn Egypt into a hub for tanning and manufacturing leather products, in addition to providing hangars and workshops of different sizes at the Robbiki Leather City soon.
