Oriental Weavers recognized as 2024 Largest Exporter at Explolink Exporter Day

Arab Finance: Oriental Weavers was recognized as the Largest Exporter of the Year 2024 and Largest Exporter to Each Continent Separately in the home furnishings sector at Expolink’s Annual Exporter Day, as per an emailed press release.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, the event was held in the esteemed presence of Minister of Investment Hassan El-Khatib, Chairman of the Export Council for Home Furnishings Saeed Ahmed, and Chairman of Expolink Mohamed Kassem.
In this regards, Yasmine Khamis, Chair of Oriental Weavers Carpets, commented: "We are proud to contribute approximately 60% of Egypt’s home furnishings exports, with the US accounting for 32% of our total sales in 2024, a share we aim to grow to 40% within three years.”
“Europe remains our second-largest market, with exports reaching EGP 6 billion last year. This award reinforces our dedication to delivering exceptional carpet quality and unique designs to homes worldwide, proudly advancing Egyptian industry on the global stage," Khamis added.
In 2024, Oriental Weavers received a series of awards, including Best Textile Exporter and Best Global Presence in Textile.
