Arab Finance: Egypt is looking forward to boosting cooperation with the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) in various areas over the coming period, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said in a meeting with AfDB’s President Akinwumi Adesina and his accompanying delegation on April 4^th.

During the meeting, El-Sisi expressed his country’s aspiration to continue and promote cooperation with the international finance institution within the framework of the common strategic goals.

El-Sisi also praised the bank's role in assisting African development sectors, especially in light of the growing economic challenges.

For his part, Adesina said that the Egyptian people and their political leadership have showed a remarkable aptitude for rapid growth and accomplishment of several significant goals.

It is worth mentioning that Egypt will host the 2023 annual meetings of AfDB in Sharm El-Sheikh from May 22nd to 26th.
