Arab Finance: Nasser Social Bank signed a cooperation protocol with Decent Life Foundation to issue one- and three-year certificates of deposit (CDs), Social Solidarity Ministry announced on April 5^th.

The minimum purchase value of the Hayah Karima CDs is EGP 500 for individuals and institutions and the return of the certificate is determined according to the credit policies applied at Nasser Social Bank, Minister of Social Solidarity, Nivine El-Kabbag revealed.

The return of the CDs is being calculated as of the first month of issuance and is not fully disbursed, she pointed out.

Holders of the CDs shall receive half of the proceeds by the end of every fiscal year, and the other half of proceeds from the CDs shall be transferred as a minimum to the foundation’s account at Nasser Social Bank to support Decent Life initiative’s projects.
