Egypt launches Charter for Responsible AI

Arab Finance: The National Council for Artificial Intelligence announced the launch of the country’s charter for the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AF), Egypt’s Communications and Information Technology stated on April 20^th.

The announcement was made during the seventh meeting of the council, headed by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat.

Talat said that the document will be reviewed annually to ensure its continued suitability for the rapid and successive developments of this technology.

The charter aims to activate five main principles: AI: human-centered design, transparency, justice, accountability, and security.
