AstraZeneca inaugurates sustainable headquarters in Egypt

Arab Finance: AstraZeneca has inaugurated a new sustainable headquarters in Egypt with the aim of controlling climate change and boost sustainable practices across its offices, according to an emailed release on May 23rd.

The LEED gold-certified building was established in the eco-friendly Golden Gate area in New Cairo.

During the inauguration event, the company has announced its plans to launch nine innovative treatments in 2025 as well as introducing 25 new brands and indications over the coming three years.

“Our green partnership with Egypt remains one of our top priorities, following the handover of the COP presidency from the UK to Egypt last November,” British Ambassador to Egypt Gareth Bayley commented.
