Arab Finance: House of Representatives has ratified a draft law authorizing Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla to contract with the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) and IEOC Production B.V. to explore and exploit natural gas and crude oil in Tiba area in the Mediterranean, Al-Ahram reported on June 13th.
It also endorsed a draft law allowing the minister to cooperate with EGAS, IEOC, and BP Exploration (Delta) Limited to explore and exploit natural gas and crude oil at the Bellatrix-Seti East concession in the Mediterranean.
Moreover, another draft law was approved, permitting the minister to contract with EGAS and BP Exploration to amend an agreement on the exploration and exploitation of natural gas and crude oil in the North El Tabya block in the Mediterranean.
This is along with a draft law which entitles El Molla to collaborate with EGAS, BP Exploration, and Wintershall Dea WND GmbH to explore and exploit natural gas and crude oil in the North West Abu Qir offshore block in the Mediterranean.
Additionally, the House of Representatives has approved a draft law which enables the petroleum minister to partner with EGAS and BP Exploration to explore and exploit natural gas and crude oil in the North King Mariut offshore block in the Mediterranean.
