Arab Finance: The decline in global oil prices in the second quarter (Q2) of this year and the stability of the local exchange rate against the US dollar may push the Egyptian government to keep fuel prices unchanged during Q3 2023, an unnamed official source told Asharq Business on July 31st.
On May 4th, Egypt’s Fuel Pricing Committee decided to raise diesel fuel prices by EGP 1 to EGP 8.25 per liter.
On the other hand, fuel prices remained unchanged at EGP 8.75 per liter for the 80-octane gasoline and EGP 10.25 per liter for the 92-octane gasoline.
