Arab Finance: Schneider Electric has partnered with the semiconductor manufacturing companies Intel and Applied Materials to launch Catalyze program, an emailed press release showed.
The program aims to accelerate access to renewable energy across the global semiconductor value chain.
Being the first of its kind, Catalyze united key semiconductor and technology industry leaders to control supply chain emissions in the industry.
As per the partnership, the three firms will work on luring semiconductor suppliers to join the program in order to accelerate the value chain’s transition to renewable energy and achieve zero-carbon emissions.
“Our mission is to be a digital partner for Sustainability and Efficiency, and the Catalyze partnership program is an excellent example of how companies in key global industries can collaborate to accelerate decarbonization,” Schneider Electric’s CEO Peter Herweck commented.
