Arab Finance: Flat6Labs has launched Makers, a construction-tech innovation program, in partnership with SIAC and Dar-Al-Handasah to provide up to $100,000 in financing to start-ups, according to an emailed press release.

The Makers ConTech Innovation Program will also offer strategic mentorship, entrepreneurship-focused business training, subject matter one-on-one sessions, and a wide range of perks and services from partners to selected startups in the construction technology solutions across Egypt.

The pre-accelerator program targets promoting construction industry innovation through engaging with various stakeholders with extensive expertise, as well as to creating sustainable innovation ecosystems for construction-related challenges within SIAC, Dar and the industry at large.

The program will focus on Egyptian entrepreneurs for a start before expanding to Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.
