German CyPlus mulls investments in Egypt’s mining industries

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El-Molla has met with the Chairman of the German cyanide producer CyPlus Stefan Welbers to probe investment opportunities in Egypt in the field of mining and supplementary industries, according to a statement on August 9^th.

During the meeting, both sides agreed to form a work group to conduct feasibility study on the establishment of a sodium cyanide production plant in Egypt.

They also discussed the technologies used in this industry, the Egyptian market’s needs, and the possibility of exporting and marketing the products.
